About Us

The Green Motors Practices Group™ objective is to promote and improve energy efficiency and reliability of motor-driven systems – not just electric motors – while sustaining efficiency in the motor repair process, in order to differentiate member service center’s delivered finished products and services within the market.

The newly incorporated non-profit organization is supported by the Industrial Efficiency Alliance* along with BC Hydro and has begun recruiting member motor service centers throughout Western North America.

*The Industrial Efficiency Alliance, based in Portland, Oregon, works to ensure that energy-efficient products and services are available to the industrial marketplace. Concurrent to its work in high-energy-consumption industries, such as food processing companies and pulp and paper mills, the Industrial Efficiency Alliance works with a number of vendor groups and trade allies in the motor marketplace to provide plants a “whole systems offering.”
